But after joining The Children’s Center, I’ve loved every minute. Even in the infant class, they include the babies in activities and crafts in their own way. Working families on Hilton Head Island should know about this great choice for childcare and preschool. The Center has existed for decades as a safe, affordable, quality place for children ages 6 weeks through preschool. Tuition is on a sliding scale, it’s open year-round for 11 hours a day, and provides meals and snacks. I’ve volunteered here for years and see amazing, happy faces every time I walk in.   ##### Christine McKeag All the teachers are amazing! The staff is professional and caring, and the Center's facility near Jarvis Creek Park provides a safe, affordable and nurturing environment for nearly 200 children from six months to eight years of age.
