Classroom Spotlight- Tadpoles!

The Tadpoles Classroom is bustling with activity as the students immerse themselves in their new environment. They are enthusiastically mastering class routines and following one-step directions. Embracing responsibility, they have taken on important classroom jobs, such as line leader, teacher helpers, chair monitors, and table captain. Each day, the highlight of their circle time is a lively lesson to the tune of The Macarena, learning the days of the week and the months of the year. And they are honing their writing skills and fine motor abilities by practicing with pencils, crayons, and playdough.
What our parents think about their preschoolers transition from The Children’s Center to Kindergarten:
Jackson’s mom– “The Children’s Center helped give my son greater exposure to academic concepts and social skills. He was taught routine, responsibility and most importantly how to be a good friend to all. I could confidently send him to Kindergarten this year knowing that he would be able to carry over the skills and concepts that he was taught in Preschool. “
Rohne’s mom– “ On Rohne’s first day of school, he ran into friends from The Children’s Center which put him right at ease in Kindergarten. He continues to attend the After School Program, which brings a sense of familiarity to his day. He was well prepped for kindergarten and it feels like he’s ahead of the game because of his time at TCC.”
