At The Children’s Center, volunteers are an essential part of creating a warm, enriching, and supportive environment for our students. Whether you love reading stories, organizing materials, preparing meals, or simply lending a helping hand, there’s a place for you here. We offer flexible scheduling and are always open to tailoring opportunities based on your interests and availability.

Classrooms (Ages 1–5)
Morning Shift: 9 AM–12 PM
Afternoon Shift: 2–4 PM
Choose any window of time within a shift. Tasks may include:

Accompanying children and teachers to Jarvis Park

Playground support

One-on-one help for a child having a tough day

Assisting with meals

Helping children settle for naps

Help create a positive end to the school day through:

OFFICE/ADMINISTRATIVE wORK
This is an “on-call” job when help is needed, such as putting notebooks together, making copies, sending mailings, etc.
